How to Apply for Admission at Jefap University
Jefap University receives applications for undergraduate degrees, all year round.
The admissions process has several stages. Each stage is outlined below. It is important to understand your role in each of these stages.

Please read all steps carefully before completing and submitting your application form.
Step 1: Find a Programme
- Find and choose the academic programme you wish to study.
- Check the admission requirements, including specific grades and subject combinations for your chosen programme.
- Apply early to take advantage of benefits like early admission and access to available scholarships.

Step 2: Apply for Admission
Before starting the application, ensure you have:
- PDF or scanned copies of your academic credentials such as O’Level results A' Level Results (JAMB) and/or Diploma certificates
- Scanned coloured passport photograph on a plain white or off-white background.
- Paid the non-refundable application fees:
- Application Fee: Free
- Acceptance Fee: ₦25,000
- Fees are faculty-based and may vary slightly by programme. Payment will be made via offline and evidence will be submitted to admissions@jefapuniversity.edu.ng
Online Application
- Go to the Jefap University Admission Portal: portal.jefapuniversity.edu.ng/application
- Fill out the application form carefully. Note that the section for A' Level, kindly input your JAMB result there.
- Upload all supporting documents (academic credentials, passport photo).
- Submit your application.
Hard Copy Application (Optional)
- Obtain the hard copy application form at designated centres or the Jefap Admissions Office.
- Fill in the form completely and attach supporting documents.
- Submit the completed form to the Admissions Office at the University or designated centres.
- You may also scan and send your documents to admissions@jefapuniversity.edu.ng
Note: All documents received in connection with an application become the property of JefaPuni University. Material is held for only one year if a student postpones enrollment and notifies the Admissions Office.
Step 3: After You Apply
- You will receive an email confirming the successful submission of your application.
- Admissions will review your application
- You may be invited for an online or in-person interview before a provisional admission letter is issued.
- If you haven’t received an email within one week, contact the Admissions Office via admissions@jefapuniversity.edu.ng
Step 4: Offer of Provisional Admission
- If you meet all requirements, you will be offered a provisional admission.
- Provisional admission may be granted to candidates awaiting results or missing original documents.
- You must fulfill all conditions of your offer within the stipulated time to secure your place. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of your admission.
Step 5: Registration
- Registration is completed online through the Jefap Student Portal.
- Students will pay fees, enroll in courses, and complete their student profile during registration.
- Faculty offices are available to assist with academic planning.
Step 6: Matriculation
- Matriculation confers official membership of the University.
- Every new student is required to attend this ceremony.
- Attendance is mandatory.
